A visit from players and staff at Eastbourne FC “Spirit of football” junior and senior squads on Saturday resulted in a fun filled morning of fun and entertaining football.
The Junior mini tournament consisted of four teams, two from each club consisting of 30 children,playing two 25 minute games against each clubs teams. The highlight of the morning being the Eastbourne boroughs (Yellow bibbed team) playing and winning their first competitive game 5-3, absolute joy!
In the Adult games, there were again 4 teams and 30 players with three 1066 Specials teams and one Eastbourne borough team. Each team played each other in 20 minute games with the Eastbourne team just about finishing on top in very tightly contested games.
A fantastic morning of football with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment with the football being played in a wonderful sporting spirit.
