On Saturday 23rd March the 1066 Specials had an away fixture of football fun, the return game with Eastbourne Borough spirit of football squad adult and junior teams.
The Juniors had an hour of 8- a side matches in sunny but cold conditions with plenty of goals at each end and a fantastic spirit being shown by both sets of players.
The adults had a round of four matches with the two 1066 Specials teams playing against the Eastbourne Borough squad of players. Taking it in turns to play with the wind, honours ended fairly evenly with wins for all teams and a last kick of the day goal for Eastbourne to salvage a deserved draw was a fitting end to the days events.
The pictures tell a fantastic storey of the football played and the great spirit the games were played in made it such an enjoyable occasion.
