Tesco are again giving vouchers for free sporting equipment this year starting on Monday 28th February. Last year the club benefitted from a number of replacement footballs and some netball posts for speed and agility training. Colin is currently studying the catalogue of equipment available to see what might suit the club's needs and we will let you know what has been decided. Whether you shop at Tesco yourself or have friends, work colleagues or family that do, please can you collect as many vouchers as possible and hand them to one of the committee members or place in the collecting box at training sessions. Thanks.

There were craft stalls and a Boot fair.

Sunday came with rain for the start of the Special Needs Football Tournament. Teams from all over the south east turned up for the start at 10am, but by 12-30 the weather was worsening and it was decided for player safety to abandon the tournament as the pitches were becoming waterlogged.
Wet and muddy players, organizers and helpers agreed enough was enough so after every player collected their medal it was time to say farewell for another year.
Despite the weather, The Specials hailed it as a great success raising £2,400 over the two days.
Thanks to all who took part.
