Forthcoming Events

Following last years success, Paul Hutton has kindly agreed to enter the 1066 Specials into the following carnivals this summer:-

17th July Ninfield
24th July Bexhill
7th August Hastings

Please contact Paul directly on 01424 851556 if you would like to join in and he will give you details of times and themes etc. All members are welcome but any children would have to be accompanied by an adult.

Also, as was the case last year, entry into the carnival fair at The Polegrove in Bexhill is FREE for 1066 Specials (wearing their kit) from 1pm - 4.30pm on 22nd July. As well as free entry all the rides are free and you get a free burger too!!

Geoff is still looking for volunteers for Morrison's collection on 24-25th July - so far we have had 3 names.

The 1066 Specials also have a stand at Hastings Direct Summer fete in Bexhill on 21st August. We have 2 stalls and it would be appreciated if anyone free to help out, even for an hour, could let me know as soon as possible.

We also have a cake stand at Bexhill 100 Motoring Club at the Polegrove on 28th August which Betty and Caroline (our regular cake stall ladies) have kindly agreed to man all day. If you get a chance to pop down you will see a fantastic display of vintage cars and motorcycles as well as some new modules too.

Craft Fair has been booked for 16th October which is being held at Little Common Community Centre. I understand that we will be having our own tombola stall and cake stand that day so all donations will be gratefully received.
