- Charity fayre
The Bexhill Rowing for Charity team are holding a charity fayre on Bexhill seafront on Sunday 30th August (Bank Holiday Weekend ) from 12 noon.
1066 specials will have a stall there on the day, manned by Jan & Brian. contact 07746 733852
The Row for Charity rowers have recently won the first ever Indian Ocean Rowing Race and Jan & Brian have supported the 4 local rowers and followed there progress throughout the 3136 miles taking 69 days.

- Annual Motor Show
The Bexhill 100 Motor Club have invited us to their Annual Motor Show on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August at The Polegrove Bexhill.
Chairman Colin Taylor is organising this one on behalf of The Specials and will be manning the stand on the day if you can help out phone Colin on 01424 210641.
Bexhill 100 Motor Club have nominated The Specials as one of their Charities of the year 2009.

Craft Fair 24th October at St Marths Church Hall, Little Common

Band Night at Atha Bar 28th November starts at 19.30 3 bands playing Suspect, No Exit and Eyes That Kill. £5.00 at ticket. Tickets on sale at training after the summer break.
